Digitalisation: from paperless workflows to a presence customers find

Digitalisation is not a project you do once, but a series of small replacements: a form that is no longer printed, a list that no longer travels by email, a report that writes itself.

That includes the way outwards. A company that cannot be found online does not exist for new customers – which is why we build website and search engine optimisation together, not one after the other.

01

Where companies start

These are the places worth starting with – each small enough to finish in weeks rather than years:

  • Replace paper and PDF: capture forms, approvals and – where legally permissible – signatures digitally instead of printing, signing and scanning.

  • Keep data in one place instead of folder structures, mailboxes and Excel copies in different states.

  • Reporting at the push of a button: figures and reports from the system instead of manual work at month-end.

  • Work from anywhere: cloud storage with permissions, versions and traceability instead of files on individual machines.

  • Customer contact without manual handoffs: enquiry, quote, order and invoice in one continuous chain.

  • Be found online: a presence that loads, convinces and appears in search.

02

Company presence: website and SEO from one source

We build company websites and landing pages that load fast, work reliably across common devices and screen sizes and are built for search engines from the first line – structure, metadata and structured data are part of the build, not a later add-on. We build this website to the same principles: served statically, without third parties, without consent-requiring tracking.

01

Company website and landing pages

From site structure through copy and imagery to the finished site – bilingual if you work internationally.

02

Search engine optimisation from the start

One page per search intent, clean titles and descriptions, clear headings, structured data for Google, sitemap and internal linking.

03

Being found locally

Google Business Profile, regional pages and consistent company details – so you also appear in searches with a local intent.

04

Speed and accessibility

Optimisation for good Core Web Vitals scores, keyboard operation, contrast to WCAG 2.2 AA. Speed and usability improve the user experience; for Google Search the Core Web Vitals are one of several factors.

05

Data-minimal, without a wall of banners

Fonts served from your own domain, no external scripts, no tracking cookies and no other storage or access requiring consent – then a consent banner is as a rule dispensable. Whether one becomes necessary depends on the technologies actually used; we only deploy one where they require consent. We integrate imprint and privacy policy; the wording comes from you or your legal advisers.

06

Handover and upkeep

Make content maintainable, configure Search Console and hand over the website with documentation. Ongoing upkeep can be agreed separately where needed.

07

Who maintains the content later

Smaller text changes we can handle where maintenance has been agreed; scope and response time are set out in the quote. If you want to publish regularly yourself, we set up an editing interface for it – and we tell you up front what that means for speed and operations.

03

Check it on this page

What we say about speed, data minimisation and technology does not have to be taken on trust. The following applies to the page you are on right now, and you can verify it with your browser’s developer tools in a few minutes.

  • Statically delivered: every page is finished before you request it. No content management system, no database, no application runtime on the server.

  • Not a single script from a third-party server. No analytics service, no tag manager, no advertising identifier.

  • Fonts served from our own domain, not fetched from Google Fonts.

  • No cookies and no consent banner. Local storage holds exactly one entry: your choice between light and dark appearance. This value never leaves your device.

  • Two languages with their own address each, hreflang annotations and canonical links.

  3. 03

    Implement

Digital workflows and presence in short steps, each usable on its own.

  4. 04

    Measure and refine

Time saved, loading times, search queries and enquiries through the site.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What does a company website cost?

The typical effort for a company site with five to eight pages, copy and SEO fundamentals is five to eight consulting days. After a conversation about scope and content we quote a fixed price.

Do you build on WordPress?

On request, yes. Our standard is pre-rendered pages without a plugin chain and without a CMS and plugin runtime that has to be maintained and updated continuously. If your editorial team works with WordPress and wants to stay with it, we build that – and we tell you up front what it means for speed, upkeep and operations.

How long does a company presence take?

A landing page typically in one to two weeks, a full company site in three to five weeks from the point at which content and approvals are complete – in our experience the longest part is copy and imagery, not the technology.

Do you write the copy as well?

On request, yes. We draft from your documents and conversations; you approve. Technical statements stay yours, we bring them into a form customers and search engines understand.

What about our existing website?

We review it and say honestly whether a revision or a rebuild pays off – including clean redirects and migration planning, to preserve existing rankings and organic traffic as far as possible.
